A man was killed and another was injured in Madhya Pradesh’s Betul district after a dispute at a wedding ceremony escalated and took a violent turn.
The incident took place on Sunday night in Hathi Kund village of Betul during a photo session after the garland ceremony at the wedding.
The victims are identified as Birbal Yadav and Mohan Yadav. As they were being photographed on stage, Vicky Yadav and Devendra Yadav, the two accused, made inappropriate comments about their sister. This led to a confrontation and brawl, Birbal was caught by Devendra and Vicky who attacked him with a knife. Mohan Yadav was also stabbed in the head.
