Police traced the CCTV footage and arrested the culprit, Murdered for I Phone.

A 20-year-old man allegedly killed an E-kart delivery partner after he failed to pay for an iPhone he had ordered online. The culprit stored the body inside his home for 4 days before burning it near a railway station.

The accused, identified as Hemanth Dutt of Ariskere town in Hassan, stabbed the delivery boy inside his house as he did not have the money to pay for an iPhone he had ordered online.

During the investigation, it was found that the deceased, Hemanth Naik (23), who worked in an E-kart express, had gone to deliver a second-hand iPhone booked by Hemant Dutta on February 7.

When Naik demanded the money, Rs 46,000 for the order, Hemant stabbed him to death and kept the body for four days at his home. He later packed the body in a bag, took it on his bike and burnt it near the railway station. The CCTV footage showed the accused carrying the dead body on his bike while he was on his way to burn the body.
